Websites that reflect your church’s people, passion, & purpose.
Before ever walking through your door, most people will explore your church online. At Threshold we want to make sure that your website accurately reflects the parts of your church you love most, that tells your story, and that helps more people find their way in.
Your website matters. But updating it never seems to happen.
We get it — your people come first, and they should. That's exactly why we built Threshold: to take your website off the to-do list, so you can spend more time with the people you've been called to serve.

ABOUT
Threshold was started by a pastor, for pastors.
I'm a full-time local church pastor that has a desire to help all churches have an online presence that reflects the time and care that's been put into the church they represent no matter the size, budget, or staffing.
I understand how easy it is for a website update to stay on the bottom of a pastor's to-do list for years and I wanted to make it as easy and time effective to change that.
Many churches are running their whole online presence on a site that's out of date and difficult to navigate — not because they don't care, but because a refresh feels expensive, complicated, and like one more thing to manage.
We wanted to change that. Threshold exists to give every congregation a warm, welcoming front door online — handled entirely by us, at a price that respects a ministry budget.
EXAMPLES
Every church is different. So is every site.
Your website will be custom made to represent your church exactly how you want. Here are a few examples of what your site could look like.

FAQ
Still have questions?
How much work is this for me, really?
+
We try our best to give you the best possible product while taking up the least amount of your time. We can provide a one-page website for no more work than a 20 minute discovery form, one review from you, and a 30 minute walkthrough at the end of it. Obviously the more complex the project, and the more custom images you would like, the more time it will take, but regardless, our mission to minimize your time commitment stays the same.
We're a small church on a tight budget — can we afford this?
+
Almost certainly. Our pricing is built specifically for small-church budgets, and we offer payment plans on request. If money is the only thing standing in the way, talk to us — we'll find a way.
Are there any other costs outside of your fee?
+
Yes — two small costs that go directly to the platforms, not to us. If you currently have an operating website you likely already pay these fees to your providers. Website hosting (~$30 CAD/month) — covers your hosting, security, and the system you'll use to update sermons, events, and blog posts. It's billed directly to you by Framer (the web design system we use) after we transfer the site to you at launch. Domain renewal (~$15–20 CAD/year) — your web address. If you don't have one yet we'll help you get set up before launch. Most churches find these costs are equal to or less than what they were already paying on their previous site.
How long does it take?
+
Most refreshes go live in two to three weeks. We move at a pace that works for you and never chase you for content — if something is missing, we'll build the site with a placeholder for you to update later. With more complex sites the timeline extends but that will be discussed and agreed upon before you commit.
Do we own the website?
+
Yes, completely. The site, the content, and the domain are yours and you'll be able to update images and wording with a custom built content management system.
Can we update it ourselves later?
+
Absolutely. We build sites using a program called Framer, which makes simple edits — service times, events, a new photo — genuinely easy. We'll show you how, and our optional Care Plan means you never have to if you'd rather not.
Do you only work with churches?
+
Churches are our heart and our specialty. The local church is why we started Threshold. That being said, if you need a site for a para-church ministry, or non-profit we'd love to discuss what we could design for you.
I've heard the term SEO before. What does it mean and do you handle it?
+
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization — it's what helps your church show up when someone searches "church near me" or "Sunday service in [your city]." Every site we build includes the foundational SEO setup that matters most: page titles, meta descriptions, image descriptions, fast load times, and a sitemap that helps Google find your pages. What we don't promise is a specific ranking — SEO is a long game influenced by many factors outside a website's control. What we do promise is that your site will be built correctly from the start so Google can find it and read it properly.
Do I need to know anything technical to manage my site after launch?
+
Not at all. The content management system we set up is designed for non-technical users — adding a new sermon, updating an event, or changing a staff photo works just like filling out a simple form.
What happens if we want changes after the site launches?
+
Small content updates — a new sermon, a staff change, an updated service time — are handled through your CMS and don't require our involvement at all. For design changes, additional pages, or anything beyond what the CMS covers, that's exactly what our monthly support plan is designed for. Clients on a support plan get priority response and a set number of update hours included each month.
